It will certainly impact my use. I have enough trouble finding time to learn things anyway. Hearing the threat of another expense to use it, makes EGL somewhat less attractive. I wish I had a better feel for what it will yield in actual productivity gains - a recurring wish in regard to tools. But I don't believe I can actually find out without spending the time which I don't really have to spare... A dilemma. Regards, Rick
Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] I should know this Well, for a while you couldn't use advanced WebFacing features without getting WDSC Advanced, but now that WebFacing is no longer free (it is bundled with HATS), that pricing strategy may have changed. Now, however, there is a looming specter that future versions of EGL may require WDSC Advanced, or be a separately bundled product altogether. If that's the case, it's probably going to impact the penetration of EGL into the System i market. Joe
