Hi Matt, What service level are you at? Do you have the prompt view open? There was a known bug with the syntax checker being invoked when the prompt view is open. Please see APAR SE26333: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=715&context=SSZND2&dc=DB550&q1=SQL&uid=swg1SE26333&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 01/22/2007 12:52:24 PM:
To all, I have upgraded to the latest WDSC version (Version: 6.0.1 - Build id: 20050725_1800) and it seems that the SQLRPGLE member type syntax checker is running all the time even with the preference unchecked for it. What's up with this? My server job log shows multiple lines of "Client request - run program QSYS/QSQCHKS." message per single line of cursor movement. It's getting very annoying trying to edit. Others in my department have mentioned the same experience. Can this feature be turned off? Thanks, Matt
