Visual Editor for Java-classes

When using the Visual Editor in WDSCi (for designing Java applicatons), I 
cannot copy a component. When I select a component, the option Copy in the 
Edit-menu is grayed out.  The pop-up menu doesn't even have a Copy option. 
This seems a bit strange to me. Am I missing something?

Another question: when I add (for example) a JList to a JScrollPane, I do 
no longer want to see the JList in the Visual Editor. The Jlist has been 
linked to the JScrollPane, and it should not be possible to move or resize 
the JList by itself. Is there some way to hide the JList when it has been 
linked to a JScrollPane?
