He who limits his toolbox limits his ability to pick the right tool for the job. All jokes aside, there are some times I pop into SEU and do a quick fix that would take 3 times as long to do with WDSC. ie A spelling error on a screen, or literal etc. Quick pop in, find correct and out in seconds 14 to compile and done. It's like using a framing nailer. Great tool, but if you have to just tap an existing nail in place, a simple hammer is the quicker solution :) Ron Power Programmer Information Services City Of St. John's, NL P.O. I was just wondering if there are firm plans to no longer support SEU/PDM at any point in the future?
Just as soon as 5250 is no longer supported. :) Seriously ... SEU / PDM should never go away ... because there are some times you have to be able edit a source member without a 2ghz PC attached. david
