Michael,
Here's some steps I received from IBM technical support a few years ago:
I can't find my version 5.1 notes, but here's the idea of the process:
1) Shut down the workbench.
2) From a command prompt (i.e., the old-style DOS-like box)
- navigate to the directory where WDSC is installed
- type wdsc -data C:\{path to your workspace} -init
(the switch could be -initialize instead of -init, I don't
have my notes handy)
3) From the task manager
- look at processes
- wait for javaw.exe to complete
When you restart the workbench, it might take a little longer. However,
many times I've found this process to restore functionality to a
workspace.
If I find my old notes and there are any discrepancies, I'll post a follow
up.

be built. Of course, a remove and reinstall would probably fix it too. On 11/29/06, David Foxwell <david.foxwell@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:But V5.1 IS supposed to compile RPGs and do outline views isn't it?
