I think Alt-r, rectangular copy, will do what you want.  Position cursor to
top left of block (and to the right of the C+), press Alt-r, position cursor
to bottom right of block, press Alt-r, and a rectangular block is
highlighted.  You can copy this block with Ctrl-c or Alt-c, whichever works
best for subsequent pasting.

I don't know if this is possible...but.  It would be nice to be able

make a block to copy in the same manner as we can in SEU.  This
doesn't
have to replace the way it is done in WDSc only an addition.  It
comes
in very handy when you want to copy a block of embedded SQL code
from a
program into Ops Nav or STRSQL.  The C+ are messy.
