FWIW, the outline, verifyer and compiler don't crash the product anymore.

Also, the product "feels" faster at 6.0 than it did at 5.1.

This is of course my own subjective impression.

They can take my WDSCi away when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

Added bonus: if you take the web page with the PC requirements to your 
boss, you might have a chance to get a new PC in the bargain.

The server part of WDSC is the compiler (and a few options) so they will 
alwasy need to upgrade it.  They just can NOT keep the previous version.

As far as the client part is concerned, it's up to you.  WDSC 5.1 keeps on 
working with V5R4, but you get WDSC 6.0 for free when you order V5R4 so 
you should have the DVD anyway.

Keep in mind that all this is for free as long as you have a compiler 
licensed.
