I have tried both a source file (QRPGLESRC) and a single member under that file and still end up with the same error. BTW the search string I enter does not exist in any source file member in my search criteria but I still get the same error message. ****************************************** Don Wereschuk ISD - Programmer/Analyst Simcoe Parts Service Inc. When you right-click the object, is it a source file, e.g. QRPGLESRC? Glenn Gundermann ggundermann@xxxxxx (647) 272-3295
Hi All: I am having a real problem trying to use the search function. Help says that it works like FNDSTRPDM but I can't get it to work at all. I have used both ways; from the main menu : Search, iSeries and using a right click on the object in Remote Systems Explorer and Find String. I enter the string (e.g. 'XXXXSSSS' ) and then search and no mater what I search for or how many objects I search I keep getting the same error message : RSE01002E Members for file EVFEVENT more than maximum allowed Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or maybe a setting I should look at. I have looked at Preferences> Workbench> Search but any changes there makes no difference.
