Hey Don, I use the SoftLanding free plugin for viewing spool files in WDSC. I know that IBM has a way of doing that too, but I like the SoftLanding version better. Check the archive for download instructions or go to their website at http://www.softlanding.com/ and look for the free extension link. One of the free plugins allows you to compare two source members if I remember correctly. As to displaying side by side for compare, I am not sure what you are asking. I know you can have two perspective windows open, and have two of anything open to compare. I use a 2 monitor system, and have one perspective window on each monitor. That way I can compare side by side, copy from one to the other, etc. HTH Jim On 11/10/06, Don Wereschuk <dwereschuk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi All: I have run a program on the iSeries that has produced output and spooled it to an output queue. I can switch to the green screen and using WRKOUTQ I can view the files. What I would like is to view them using WDSC so that I could compare 2 files side by side. I have looked through Help and the archives but cannot find any info pertaining to this exact problem. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can accomplish this? Thanks in advance. ****************************************** Don Wereschuk ISD - Programmer/Analyst Simcoe Parts Service Inc.
