Actually, the article specifically says that CRTPGM and CRTSRVPGM do not
produce *EVENTF feedback, so it won't work for them:

Note that some IBM compile commands, such as CRTPGM and CRTSRVPGM, do
not allow this parameter, since they don't produce events files.

|Subject: [WDSCI-L] Trouble with IT Jungle tip for adding *EVENTF
|toCRTPGM/CRTSRVPGM
|
|
|Has anyone been able to get this tip from IT Jungle to work?
|
|http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg080404-story01.html
|
|It promises to allow *EVENTF-type feedback to be returned to WDSC for
|commands like CRTPGM and CRTSRVPGM, which is something that I would
find
|very useful. However, I've been trying to get it to work for a while
now
|without luck.
|
|I also tried to get the provided CRTMOD examples to work with no
|modifications on my part and had no luck with those either.
|
|Thanks,
|Phil
