Hi Bill,

LPEX will warn you with a message in the message line when you exceed the
record length, and then again when you save, if you have ignored the
message.
For technical reasons, it is not currently possible to have a hard stop
when you reach the end of a record.

thanks,

I was creating a CL program and when I saved it I got a message that
said some lines were truncated. Upon bringing the member back up it was
the closing */ to my comment lines. My question is, shouldn't it have
prohibited me from going past the allowed record length like SEU does?

Thanks
