Can someone from IBM speak up about this, I heard(from an IBMer) that EGL was going to be opensourced and therefore I really do not understand the concern as it could / would be available in base Eclipse products therefore automagically available in WDSC. If someone from IBM could comment? Michael Soucy wrote: Also some other resources for learning EGL can be found on the following web site: http://www.jsayles.com/ibm/ There are a lot of tutorials and sample code on this web site. Please be advised some of the documentation applies to zSeries and not the iSeries. Jon Sayles at IBM has been running some e-learning classes on the subject that have been quite helpful to me. The classes are FREE of charge. If you are interested in his classes send me a private email using my email address below, and I'll give you his email address. Jon is part of the IBM EGL Eco Systems team. I hope this was helpful. Go to Help -> Tutorials Galery -> Do and Learn -> Introducing EGL (a quick-start guide) The first chapter helps you to enable EGL for your Web perspective. hth, Eric DeLong Sally Beauty Company MIS-Project Manager (BSG) 940-297-2863 or ext. 1863 -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces+edelong=sallybeauty.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces+edelong=sallybeauty.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of GKern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2006 10:04 AM To: wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [WDSCI-L] EGL components I'm interested in exploring EGL, but do not see any links in my WDSC install to get me started. I seem to recall that EGL is installed as a separate component (which I may have chosen to not install during my initial install)... or am I mistaken?
