Maybe you could give me more details of the problem you encounter for
debugger. Perhaps Aaron like many of the rest of us couldn't get the previous versions of the debugger to work because of the idiot way the debugger call-back mechanism was implemented. It is only since V6 came out that I and most of my customers have been able to use it! The pre-V6 versions would only work if there was no NAT translation going on between the System i and the PC. And forget it if there were any firewalls present unless you cared to open up an arbitrary range of ports "just in case". Anyway - long story short - the V6 debugger works in locations where the old one wouldn't even try. The new Service Entry Point approach is a dream to use compared with the obfuscation of the older methods and at last I'm actually able to use WDSC's debugger.
