If your result set is in a physical file on the iSeries, there are a number of tools available to convert this to an XLS file, which you can then email to the user. <tool creator reply> Have a look at my CPYPF2XLS tool, hosted by Leif Guldbrand over at http://www.think400.dk/downloads.htm ) </reply>
Thanks for the tip Peter. Your tool sounds useful, but we already have SEQUEL to do this for us. My goal is a process whereby I can run an SQL statement and print the results, "do not pass go, do not collect $200" (and don't use a temporary 'work PF' either!) Basically, I want to do what SEQUEL must be doing in the background, only allowing for use of all of the SQL language features. Thanks again, Adam ##################################################################################### Attention: The above message and/or attachment(s) is private and confidential and is intended only for the people for which it is addressed.
