For updating/viewing/adding data, the slickest and most feature rich tool I
have found is Linoma's Surveyor product. An absolute boatload of
functionality in that beast and would definitely meet your needs in the area
of data modification. I believe they have a free trial. I don't believe
they have a WDSC plugin for that yet, though I believe you can start the
product from WDSC by right clicking on a PF object in RSE.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSC as a complete work environment

Hello all,
I currently program and support green screen ERP apps. Half of what I do is
not actually programming, it's viewing and updating data via SQL and DBU,
working with jobs, changing lib lists every 15 minutes depending on which
company(we have multiple on the same machine) I'm working with, etc.
The list goes on and on. I have been learning and using the RSE environment
for writing RPG code and some debugging type functions. My question is: Do
you use WDSC for all the other iSeries related functions
we programmers use on a daily basis? I find I keep switching back and
forth between WDSC and green screen.
Thanks, Tim
