When I compile and SQLRPGLE program through RSE the first time in a session I get the error list and can click on the error and the source line is displayed. That's great. The problem comes up if there are still errors after that and I run a second compile. The error list comes up and when I click on the error an RPGLE module is created with the same name as the original SQLRPGLE but it is not SQL. Any corrections made there are not transferred to the original module. I have to hunt and search through the original module to find the lines (different numbers from the RPGLE module. I am getting extremely frustrated with RSE and I admit that it is affecting my attitude towards it. Another point is that when converting to FREE in an SQL RPGLE program it causes errors in the SQL portion of the code that can't be recovered from unless you exit without saving or restore the member from backup.
