Greg,

I wasn't talking about closing and re-opening the perspective, but about
resetting it (Window - Reset Perspective).

Re: [WDSCI-L] Quick Quantum question

Peter,

Thanks again.. I'll try some tinkering today. Sometimes I think I enjoy
tinkering with the tools better than I like actually using them. Maybe
I should be a PC tech instead of a programmer. ;->

Oh, and yes (to your other post); I did close and reopen the
perspective, to no avail. I thought that was going to work, as the
author actually mentioned that some folks might need to do that in his
release notes for Quantum 3.0.1.

But I'm happy enough that it all works well in regular WDSC. I've
started using it more than "Lite" lately anyhow, because I've been
mucking about with some XML. Plus, I don't really notice a huge
performance difference between regular and lite. If I look at the task
manager, it looks like regular runs about 15-20 megabytes "heavier" than
lite does in terms of memory consumption, but I don't really feel it
much, even though I've only got 1 gigabyte of memory.
