A (sorry, don't have your full first name at hand)

No, it doesn't have anything to do with multiple members. When you open
the connection to a DB and drill down to the tables and views the next
layer would be the view of all the tables. Ever since we upgraded to
V5R3, Quantum DB throws an exception:

Exception in DatabaseMetaData for "JDE"
java.sql.SQLException: [SQL0901] SQL system error.
        at
com.ibm.as400.access.JDError.throwSQLException(JDError.java:643)
        ...

I get around it by finding the tables and views that I need from the
System I (iSeries/AS400/etc) then writing the SQL in the view window.
It would be nice to have the functionality back because I could then
drill down further to see the columns in the tables without having to go
back a green screen session to get the information.

Hi Douglas,

you wrote on 17/10/2006 04:51:24 PM:

I'm using RAD 6.0.1 and Quantum DB 3.0.1 against a V5R3 OS.

That's what I'm using currently as well.

It all
seems to work except you can't expand the table/views to see your
files and their structure.

Do you mean that you can't get a list of members in a multi-member file?
