Stepping into the conversation a little late but anyways...

I believe I heard somewhere (classic "ease of retract" statement :-) that
the WDSC folks hope to have the install process "pick n pack" in future
releases. That would allow a person to only install RSE/LPEX, and XML
capabilities. I usually have another version of eclipse open to do my
Java/xml stuff because it gives faster response times than the same in WDSC.

On a side note from another email you sent, I would upgrade my memory to at
least 1GB (go up to 1.5GB if you have the slots). Management won't buy it
for you? Buy it yourself - well worth the price as you will be much more
productive by not having to wait for operations to happen. You can pick up
an addtl 512MB stick for around $40 if you catch a sale at BestBuy or the
like.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Developer XML with WDSC 6 Light ?

All,
Am I right to assume that if you install wdsc6 Light you do not have the
Developer XML Developer capabilities installed.
Is it possible to use WDSC 6 Light and install or enable the XML Developer
Feature after you have installed wdsc 6 Light ? If the answer is yes how ?
Thanks,
Regards,
Manuel Cerda
