Just found out that this space bar behavior is not limited to editing. If I try to change my program text under Table View or try to issue a command from the command line and hit the space bar, it displays a little icon on the lower rightmost part of the screen. When I click on it, a Progress tab opens with a message "Launching" then in the next line is the status bar, then under it is the message "Websphere V6.0 Server @... - Building prerequisite project list". After few seconds, this message "Launching (Finished at hh:mm AM) Websphere V6.0 Server @...:Starting Websphere v6.0 server on remote machine is not supported. The remote server must be started manually on the remote machine." Has anybody got any clue on what's going on? It looks like my space bar key setting is configured differently but I can't find it in the preferences. I'm using version 6.0.1. I have installed RSE Extensions from SoftLanding which provides the iSeries Editing perspective. I tried to uninstall it thinking that this might fix the problem but it did not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
