I'm guessing that this is a fool's errand, but here goes .... I'd like to be able to customize the keyboard shortcuts for navigating tree structures (eg. the filters in the Remote Systems view). I'd love to be able to navigate the structures using only the keys that are easily reachable from the "home row" position. I know that all the printable characters are used to navigate to a list item that is prefixed by the characters typed, so using straight alphabetic characters is out. I don't like jumping to the arrow keys or the numpad to expand/collapse tree nodes, so I'd like to have something like Alt+L to do the same function as the right arrow key. So given my goal, I guess my questions are as follows: 1. Are there existing shortcuts to do this? 2. Does RSE/Eclipse simply pass these keys to the OS, or does it handle them itself? 3. If passed to the OS, does anyone know of a way of customizing Windows shortcuts? 4. If RSE/Eclipse handles the keys, is there any method to modify this behaviour? 5. If the answer to 3. is "no", is there a possibility of adding this in a future release? Sorry if this is a bit esoteric, but I hope someone on the list will be able to shed some light. TIA, Adam ##################################################################################### Attention: The above message and/or attachment(s) is private and confidential and is intended only for the people for which it is addressed.
