Tim,

What OS version are you running? If you are on something other than V5R4M0, go to www.i5php.net and there is plenty there to get you started. Beware that PHP runs in PASE on the System i so get your AIX ears on.

If you are running V5R4M0, then Zend has a distribution that is IBM supported. It still runs in PASE but it looks like it the "official" PHP version that IBM will support. http://www.zend.com/products/zend_core/zend_for_i5_os

Is there anything I need to do to enable PHP on the Express Server 5.1?
And if so, how would I do it. I'm am attempting to run a sample AJAX
application, and it appears my server side script is not working. I'm
fairly new to using WDSC, and web tech in general. But I'm committed to
stumbling my way through this good stuff when I get the chance... Thanks,
Tim
