I just came across this article in the Rational zone of DeveloperWorks: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/06/0801_morin-jef fs/ I haven't had time to absorb it all yet, but I was wondering if any of the IBMers on this list could comment on how close it is to what would need to be done to automate WDSC installs? One of our big concerns is that most developers can spend the better part of a day between doing the initial install, applying patches (from the local mirror we set up based on Mark Phippard's instructions), and setting up the standard configuration (including applying the latest WAS fixpacks). It'd be nice if we could minimize that pain....developer starts the install process when they leave one day and has a fully configured WDSC install when they walk in the next day. Thanks, Robert Dean
