Dear all,

Does this outline thing works for WDSc V5.1.2? Because when I drill my
physical files, it just gives me "External description is not available"
thing.

Mike,

Search your C: drive for the source member name.  You should find
several xml files (and some associated resource files) for that source
member.  You may need to exit WDSCi before you delete these.  Once
deleted, then start WDSC and refresh your outline.

This is just a blind stab in the dark, but this seemed to fix MY
problem.  As I recall, the problem had to do with the cache used for
iSeries projects.  It was some time ago, and I tried so many things, so
perhaps I'm not remembering what I should....  Still, worth a look....

I just installed WDSc lite and it refreshed the outline properly. Is
there a
way to force a cleanup or something? Not sure where I need to go to get

Files I have just created are not coming into WDSc. Old

files before

this project come in just fine and new display files come in

fine. The files are in the library list (although lib is called
QMFILES). I have cleared the cache several times and done

the verify

with clearing cache. None of that works. At one point they

where in a

different library but got moved to QMFILES (the main DB

lib), could this cause a problem?
