I am editing a 2400 + Line SQLRPGLE program. We are on V5R3 with CUME
6045 Groups SF99529 LVL 76, SF99519 LVL 153.

WDSCi = 6.0.1 with Build ID of 20050725_1800.

Let's say I have 5 lines that I want to move to the right 2 spaces.
I hit the space bar twice and then the down arrow, and the left arrow
twice and I repeat this 5 times.

If I do this at the beginning of the source I have not problem but if I
try it at the end of the source code it will do the first line but for
the other 4 it buffers the keystrokes and waits for about 15 - 20
seconds before executing it.

I am running a Dell Desktop with a 3.0 GHz processor, 2 GB memory and a
60 GB HD (7200RPM) that is only 50% of Capacity.

And by the way under Window -> Preferences -> Remote Systems -> iSeries
-> LPEX Editor Parsers -> ILE RPG I Unchecked the Automatic syntax
checking of SQL statements but it did not help. But I then went and with
no change but when I unchecked "Automatic syntax checking" it worked
great.

I would really like to have the Automatic syntax checking but without
the 20 second delay. <VBG>

Anyone got a fix.

Thanks

Hi Mike,

Outline view does a verify under the covers to generate its needed
information.
Looks like you are probably using cached files. Try the following
From the Source menu, select Verify with prompt, select the Cache
page,
and
select the Refresh cache option.
Refresh your outline view again.

thanks,

When I refresh the outline in WDSc (latest version), the record and
field
names aren't coming into the outline like they should. The files are
in
the
WDSc libl and exist on the sytem. the only "weird" thing is that the
files
are in a library called QMFILES (ya we know, we didn't set it up).
What
can
I look at to get this fixed.
