I not sure if I'm interpreting your question correctly or not, but you can step over calls using F6, instead of stepping in to each call. If you are talking about something likes this: 'Pgm A' -- calls --> 'Pgm B' -- calls --> 'SrvPgm A' -- calls --> 'SrvPgm B', where you want to start Pgm A, and then only enter debugging when a specific module in SrvPgm B is called, then I think you can use Service Entry Points. Use the iSeries Table view to find the object 'SrvPgm B', then right click and choose Debug (Service Entry) -> Set Service Entry Point. You should then be able to modify the Service Entry Point to be specific to a given module. I haven't actually done this with a specific module before, so YMMV. Hope this helps, Adam wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 27/06/2006 08:31:32 AM:
Is there a way, in the WDSCi debugger, to have it only debug a desired module? I think it's a great feature that it automatically steps into each
module
of a call stack, but I'd prefer having the option to disable debugging every module automatically and instead simply stay in a specific module.
