Thanks for the tips - I already use the Softlanding plugin, but I had only heard vague references to the Quantum DB plugin and assumed it was only for connecting to non-iSeries DBs. I'll have to look into it. On a side note, my understanding is that the Softlanding plugin is written specifically for WDSc. Is this true of the Quantum DB plugin as well? Is there integration between RSE and Quantum DB, or Quantum DB and the iSeries Projects view? Sorry if these are silly questions, but having only worked with plain Eclipse a little bit, I'm not entirely sure where Eclipse ends and WDSc starts. Adam, One favorite comes from SoftLanding (iSeries Prospective, Spool file, and Messages) and the other is Quantum DB (on SourceForge) which allows me to connect to multiple platforms (iSeries, Oracle, MS SQL) and execute SQL statements, i.e. Select, Update, Delete. Both of these have been written about multiple times and you review the archives about it. Speaking of plugins ... anyone got any favourites that relate to RPG development or general iSeries development tasks? I'm curious how Eclipse plugins integrate with WDSc/RSE. When you are on an older version ofEclipse,it is harder to stay up-to-date on some plugins.
