While I am thinking on it, I have my preferences in LPEX Editor > User Key
Actions  the entry for the enter key as such;

key = enter Action = openLine.

When I am editing a CL(whatever) source, when I hit the enter key, I get a
new line, without splitting the current line.

When I am editing a CBL(whatever) source, when I hit the enter key, I get a
split line.

I know that ctrl + enter will give me a new line without splitting, but I
would rather have _my_ defaults the other way around. In fact I use the alt
+ s to splitAndShift the line.

The COBOL Parser does not seem to recognize the openLine change for the User
Key Actions settings.

Thanks!
