Thanks Adrian! I was having trouble finding the name for keyRecorderPlay. I find the toolbar icon is okay if I am doing less than 10 repetitions, but for more than that it can be a pain, especially if there are some lines to skip or I need to do a 'find next' in between playing the macro. Thanks again, Adam wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 30/05/2006 08:38:34 AM:
What with Eclipse and all, all the key combinations are already
taken!?...
Ctrl+T is one that I use whenever I have to assign a shortcut: Window >
Preferences > LPEX Editor > User Key Actions > Key: c-t Action: keyRecorderPlay press Set > press OK. I actually find it handy to use the toolbar "Play" icon. AGlauser@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote:I've tried to locate a shortcut key for "playback", but I haven't had

for this?In general, for repetitive tasks the keystroke recorder feature may
also
be helpful (see the "start", "stop", "playback" controls on the
toolbar,
or the Edit > Keystroke Recorder menu).-- This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI- L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
