I do not remember where I ran across this information. I did check the
archives to see if this information had been posted previously. There
were a couple threads on this topic but all seemed to be non-WDSC based.
The LPEX API has a sample package
(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtnlhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topi
c=/com.ibm.lpex.doc.isv/api/com/ibm/lpex/samples/package-summary.html).
It's very simple to activate the sample classes as a user action and key
action.

To enable LPEX to zero source dates:

Adding custom user actions.

1. Go into preferences by Windows -> Preferences.
2. Navigate to LPEX Editor -> User Actions.
3. In the Class name box, key "setDate" (case is important).
4. In the Class name box, key "com.ibm.lpex.samples.SetDateAction".
Press the Set button then apply

Creating custom key actions.

1. In preferences -> LPEX Editor -> User Key Actions.
2. In the Key box, key a-f2.
3. In the Action box, key "setDate", press the Set button, then the
OK button.

To use the above key actions, be in LPEX editor (any iSeries member
opens this editor). Be anywhere in the source edit area (not the
command line nor prefix area).

Press Alt-F2. You get a "New Date (YYMMDD)" box to show. This feature
is very similar to SEU's F13 (Set records to date) except that you can
set one or selected source lines to the specified date. To zero all
source lines, press Ctl-A in the source edit area. Press Alt-F2 to
bring up the date box. Key in 6 zeros (000000), press Enter. You can
see the effect by pressing Shft-F10-> Source -> Show Date area.

Thanks, Matt
