Turning off column sensitive editing for LPEX editor with COBOL

Working with COBOL source editing in the LPEX editor.  I am on version
6.0.1.1 with all fixes applied.  I have the Window > Preferences > Remote
Systems > iSeries > LPEX Editor Parsers > Column sensitive editing check
mark off.  I have not found column sensitive editing parms anywhere else.
Even with that off, the first 6 columns of the COBOL source code are column
sensitive.  If I get something in that area, I can't shift it to the right.
Once it is in the 7th column or farther, then the shift right or insert
works just fine.  Also if the text gets pushed past column 73, it does not
shift back to the left with any function that I can find.

Any Idea how to turn off the column sensitive stuff so that code will shift
like a normal editor?
