Ok, got it all reproduced now :-)

I have opened APAR SE25387 to track the prompter/syntax checker problems:
#2 below and
   DOWHILE    COND('1') /* xx01 */
from your other note.

I have opened APAR SE25408 to track the parser problem with
auto-indent/auto-formatting (#1)
