I also tried this and you can't split the view.

In RSE I right click on an source member of type SQL, then click Open With. The only options is Remot System LPEX Editor. I click this an the member opens.

If I right click in the editor there is no View option. (Right clicking in the editor, in for example, an member of type RPG, you a View option appears below the Source option.

Seems like a bug, or some configuration issue that we haven't found.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Problems With Split Screen
Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2006 11:52:16 -0600

Hello,

It appears that the split screen feature (CTRL+2) will not work if the
source member type is "SQL". It works fine for members of type RPGLE,
SQLRPGLE, PF, DDS etc. I don't know what the member type has to do with it,
but it doesn't work on any member of type SQL. Is this a known problem, or
should I place a support call?
