I've unzipped such a plug-in in the same directory tree where the com.ibm.lpex_3.0.n plug-in is, e.g., on my machine:

  C:\<install_root>\rwd\eclipse\plugins\mycompany.myplugin_1.0.1

Then I had to start WDSC with the -clean option (which takes a while):

  C:\<install_root>\> rationalsdp -clean

Make sure your plug-in 'broadcasts' its LPEX extensions using the com.ibm.lpex.preload extension point. For additional information on this, enter

  ?api

on any LPEX command line, then select com.ibm.lpex.alef (under "Eclipse Packages") > Description > scroll down to "Editor extensions" > read "The com.ibm.lpex.preload extension point".

I have some "personal" LPEX command extension written that I need to
deploy into my workspace. I can't seem to figure out how/where to unzip
the plug-in .ZIP file so that RSE will find my stuff. I have the the
   class
   com.griffincomputing.lpexextensions.UserProfile
in my User Profile preferences for the LPEX editor. When I open a source member, I get a message stating that the class can't be found. Can anyone help me??
