Thanks this is what I was afraid of. I did some researching over the
weekend on IBM's sites and that's pretty much what I came up with.

Dear Carey,

My experience was; Webfacing does not allow you to change your library
list like you used to working in a 5250 session.

Instead, you have to make sure your profile is assigned a sign-on jobd
that has a proper library list defined in it.

Try this:
1. create a jobd and define the library list in it.
2. change your user profile jobd to that
3. log on to another 5250 sessions using the user profile you've just
changed the jobd
4. verify your library list upon logged on
5. if you've verify the library list is what you want; then you can
start connecting your webfacing project using the user profile.

Good luck.

Thanks & regards,

I am using the connection that has all the required libraries. In the
iSeries Command Log it shows the libraries are added to the library list
at
time of connection. When I go and convert the project though the
libraries
are not in the list.

I think that you have to add the libraries into the iSeries connection.
Click on the connections, click on properties, iSeries command tab and
you
will see where you can add libraries to the library list.

Hello,

I have what I think is a simple question but can't seem to find a simple
answer. I am new to WDS. I Webfaced the sample application from the
WDS
training manual and it worked fine. I am now trying to Webface an
existing
simple production application from our system. In the sample program
all
the source and data files resided in a single library. When you convert
the
project the first step in the log is an "ADDLIBLE LIBRARYA" in the
command
log that the system automatically does. For my production application
the
DDS, CL, and RPG are in LIBRARY X with data files in LIBRARY B, and
Reference files in LIBRARY C. In the CL that launches the program I
will
add the ADDLIBLE statements to get all the libraries in order so when
the
application is launched all required information is found.

Here's now where my problem lies. When I am in the RSE Perspective all
the
libraries B, C, and X are in the library list. When I go to create the
WebFacing Project the screen DDS can not find LIBRARY X Reference Files.
Where do I add the appropriate libraries in the library list so when I
create the Project it compiles? Only way so far I see is in the User
Profile which I do not care to do as I work in multiple environments and
I'd
need 4 to 5 different logins then.
