I created a couple Local Files filters so I can access some local files on
my PC. When I save them, I have to do Save-As the first time in order for
them to save in the folder that the filter is over. Otherwise, they save in
a RemoteSystemsTempFiles directory.

If I copy a file from one filter to another, then the copied file is in the
desired directory (i.e. not the RemoteSystemsTempFiles directory.)

Is there a way to get the save to save in the directory the filter is over,
without having to do the Save-As first?

Now that I think about it, this means that the filter actually copies the
files and what I am seeing in the filter are copies of my files - not a
filtered view or subset of the contents of a directory.

Phil
