That is how we do it and it works. The only other thing I can think of is
that the time out on the iSeries is set to 30 minutes. Even if WAS is set
to a longer time, the job on the iSeries will time out anyway when it hits
the default in QINACTITV. You have to up that time to match the WAS server.

I've got several webfaced applications in production now and one of my
biggest complaint from users is that it times out after 30 minutes...so, I
go in and set the timeout to 90 minutes or no timeout and reboot my
application server...but, the settings do not go into effect...ever...i've
tried changing this multiple times with no success...

has anyone figured out how this can be done?
