Is it expected behavior when editing a cl pgm for it to take upwards of a
minute after hitting enter before I can start editing the next line?  I
figure I could turn off syntax checking and/or formatting but then that's
the point of using this editor.

It doesn't start out taking a long time - it increasingly takes longer.

The cl pgms have over 1000 lines of code - if size matters.
