I think (hope) I've found the problem.  I was doing the installation for
one of the other programmers, and ran across an error message which I
had blown by when installing mine.

Apparently, we need a newer version of the org.eclipse.platform plugin,
which we currently have at 3.0.1, and it needs to be 3.1.0 or higher.  

I'm downloading now, so hopefully that will clear up my issues.
