Hi Jeff,
I had this happen awhile ago, I think I worked with Violaine on it but
he was never able to reproduce it.  I ended up reinstalling WDSC and
that fixed the problem for awhile but now it is happening again.  It
only happens for one file in my case it is a PF, I have just gotten used
to that file erroring out in the verify.

Using WDSC 5.1.2.5, build 20051002_2139.
  From time to time, when using the Verify function for an RPG IV
program, I receive the following message:
    RNF0401  An error occured during communication with the host.
  This error only occurs on the Workstation file, and when it does, it
fails all the time for that program / file.
  I can shut down WDSCi and even after IPL of the I5, it still occurs.
  Has anyone else noticed this and if so, how can I get around it.
   
  It does not stop my compile, but I can no longer use the verify
function for the program in WDSC.
