Hi Steve, Yes WDSc 6.0 is capable of this configuration, in V6.0 the debugger callback was removed to solve this very problem. The only thing you won't be able to do is run the STRRSESVR command to associate an interactive emulator with an RSE connection. In my opinion this isn't a big deal since you can just switch over to a 5250 emulator to test your 5250 applications. Especially with the Service Entry Points (SEP) breakpoints; if you want to debug an interactive application just set the SEP on your program / service program you want to debug first then switch to the emulator and call your program like you normally would. Now, to figure out why you get the "Required host servers are not started" message : ) I'm assuming you get this when you try to connect. Does everything still seem to work or nothing works at all? At the top of the verify connection dialog, does it show all the host servers as being started? (If it does then we can rule out a firewall issue.) Is version 6.0 capable of this type of configuration? The error message we get is "Required host servers are not started." When I verify the connection, the callback to debug and RSE daemon failed. All other options via verify are successful except Remote System Explorer has a product missing. I will use the product updater to fix that.
