Are you doing this while in the softlanding perspective? I have this installed also, so I could check it that way. Yes... Now I'm wondering does it have anything to do with the fact I have my messages using the softlanding stuff. It displays the message that the job is done instead of coming over the iSeries green screen. Ron Power Programmer Information Services City Of St. John's, NL P.O. Actually, To try this again if someone could, it happens if you try to ALT-TAB back to WDSC when it is retrieving the events file after you compile... only then does the icon disappear on the switcher. Anyone else notice this, I'm on version 6.0 If I submit a compile, do an ALT-TAB to go to another application, if I try to ALT-TAB back to WDSC, the application doesn't show in the switcher? What's up with that? You have to ALT-TAB back before the compile finishes, after the compile is done, it shows up again in the switcher window.... talk about weird?
