Dear All I want to test the web facing part of WDSC (I'm on 6.0 and i5OS 5.3). I've made a little project, web faced a subfile but when I try to run it nothing happens. I get a problem with authenticating >From the server log. Attempt to use permanent system object QSYGETPH without authority. Application error. MCH1001 unmonitored by QQFWFSVR at statement 0000000009, instruction X'0000'. So there is a problem when the web facing server (running under QUSER) tries to authenticate my log on to the system or? We have a quite secured environment with adopted authority etc. I do not really know where to start. I assume I can give QUSER authority to QSYGETPH, but to what level and is that the proper way to handle it? I have to convince the sysadmin to do it so I have to have a good explanation if this is the way ;-) I assume that since QSYGETPH is involved in a lot of authenticating it is not that good to go about and change it without knowing what you are doing. I know that QUSER works in ODBC-connections and other "server" related business without us having to change any "system setup" so why now? As you probably noticed I'm a bit uncertain in these areas and I would be very grateful If anyone could take the time to enlighten me a bit.
