Violaine, Thanks. I'm not that brave. I've often wondered when bravery crosses the line into foolishness. I'm not sure if this wouldn't be one of the cases where it would be flirting with that. There's only a couple of things that I would want to very by source type: the 'set save.trim off' for CL and perhaps column sensitive editing for certain source types. Thanks anyway, Michael Quigley AS/400 Programming Coordinator The Way International www.TheWay.org Original message: ------------------------------ date: Fri, 2 Dec 2005 08:19:40 -0500 from: Violaine Batthish <batthish@xxxxxxxxxx> subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] CL source member saves but editor still thinks it is changed Hi Michael, In CODE Editor, users could define profiles. Unfortunately Remote Systems LPEX Editor does not have that capability. The only way I think you could modify behaviour based on member type, would be to subclass the iSeries parsers. I don't know how feasible/easy that would be, but methinks you'd have to be pretty brave :-) thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab You know you've achieved perfection in design, not when you have nothing more to add, but when you have nothing more to take away. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 01-12-2005 09:31:28: > Hi Violaine, > > >3) From the editor command line enter > >set save.trim off > > It's been a while, but in CODE, there was a way to set it up to always set > preferences, etc. for editing a source member type.
