In order to use the CODE designer (e.g., for change the WebFacing
Web-settings) in V6,
you need to install CODE and VARPG from that separate CD yourself.

Thanks.

You didn't mention which release you're using. For WDSC V6.0, CODE and
VARPG is in a separate CD and must be installed separately. For V5.1.2,
the install wizard will ask you if you'd like to install the whole
thing, or just the classic tools (i.e., CODE and VARPG) only.

Thanks.

[WDSCI-L] Installing Just VARPG

We'd like to try VARPG but can't get WDSCi to install on any of our
PC's.
Is there a way to get just the VARPG components?

[To spare those of you who will want me to try the full WDSCi install,
our
errors we're many and varied. We called IBM and went through steps of
deleting directories, cleaning registry entries, verifying size of hard
drive, etc. After four days of that we decided that if we need web
development we'll use a third party product. In the meantime we have a
couple of requests for simple EIS screens that we'd like to create in
VARPG and Sequel's Viewpoint and then compare results......]
