enterprise method to keep wdsc 6 updated?

Is there an "official" recommendation how to keep 50+ PC's with WDSC
updated?  I updated my laptop last week (v6.0) and I had to do it from
home and it took 4 hours.  That was longer than it took to install the
whole product.

At work, there is not enough bandwidth allocated to http to get through
even one update (except for the update to the Updater.)  

I found a site with instructions on how to mirror the updates but there
was only one update there (out of the 7 or so I had to install.)  And,
it requires someone to manually go out and ftp the file.  I need
something that the folks who keep our PC's updated can understand
because they are the ones whose job it would be to mirror the updates.

Anything like that exist?  Any ideas?
