Thanks for the suggestions.  It helped, a bit.

The add the libraries one by one method is still a pain (why not just click into "grid" and add all the libraries in the sequence you want?).

It also doesn't address my need to keep changing library lists as I move from project to project during the day. If I could save the library list in a "settings" file, I could just retrieve the library list and apply it and move on.

This way IS better than the way I was doing it though. Thanks to all for the pointers.

I was following this thread.  I'm on version V5x.  When I follow your
suggestion, I found that the top half of the Iseries command tab window is
actually a table to set up a library list.  Is it different in version 6?
