If you run into this problem, delete the following folder "C:\Windows\IBM\RAT60" or "C:\WINNT\IBM\RAT60". That's it. Fire up the install again, and it should be fine. Don Yantzi Technical Release Lead WebSphere Development Studio & WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries IBM Toronto Lab Phone: (905) 413-4476 IBM internal: IBMCA(yantzi) - Internet: yantzi@xxxxxxxxxx Hi All, this might not be the most approriate place to ask this question, but.... I was only 15 minutes into installing V6.0 and my laptop crashed. When I tried to re-start the installation, it tells me that there are Rational products installed that are incompatible with the product I am trying to install and to upgrade the Rational Product Updater to version 6.0.0.4. However the Rational Product Updater is not installed so I can't upgrade it or remove it. Running on Windows XP and I checked the registry and Rational Product Updater is not listed. Anyone any ideas about what the installer is checking to see if Rational Products are installed or how I can sort this..??? regards James O'Sullivan Senior Technical Consultant email: josulli4@xxxxxxx Office: +44 1252 536681 Fax: +44 1252 534022 www: www.csc.com Based at: Tower 2, Floor 2, Royal Pavilion, Wellesley Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 1PZ CSC Corporation Limited: No. 1812179.
