Comparing two source members. Most decent source editors provide this
feature. 

If you have a library of standard source templates, then it stands to reason
that many of your source members will have a very similar structure to them.
If there are changes to be made that will affect multiple members of the
same structure, it's handy to make the required changes in the first member,
then open the next one and vertically scroll through both members in a
synchronized fashion. As you scroll, both windows are moving, and the cursor
stays in the member that you're editing. It's like having an assistant
flipping pages of your sheet music for you while you play your instrument.
