Hi Paul,

The servlet version is 2.4 and the jdk is 1.4.

Actually the only thing we have running on WAS5 Express is the snoop
servlet and a couple of other sample/example type things. We are absolute
newbies with the web service thing so we are probably doing something basic
wrong. It runs on the built-in test env (6.0) but the exported ear file is
refused by Express 5.0. Maybe because it was created for the internal v6
WAS? Time will tell...

Hi,

Have you selected the correct JDK and servlet versions ?

Have you deployed already non-webservices from 6 to 5 ?

Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Andy,

We are *trying* to create a web service... <smile> with v6.0. Our
problems are trying to get it to run on was 5.0 express - can't get the
install to happen. Call open with ibm support.

        Good luck.

I get the feeling I am one of the only people out there doing web services
with 6.0

Can anyone out there prove me wrong?

And why is there so little traffic on the topic, both here and on other
forums??

Andy
